[S1E4] The Community Pile ^HOT^
In the Physical Kids' Cottage, the real Eliot and Penny were looking for Coldwater's body when Kady arrived, revealing that Quentin was in a closet under a pile of clothes and explained that he had crawled in the previous night. When they were unable to wake him, Eliot decided to call Dean Fogg. Arriving in a brush of trees, Julia and Marina waited for the school's wards to drop, as Marina revealed that in order to break their spell, Dean Fogg would have to lower the school's protective wards to summon a Matarese, a demonic spirit from the Underworld, allowing anyone to walk onto the campus.
[S1E4] The Community Pile
As they arrive in Kansas City, Missouri, they find the road blocked by an abandoned truck. Faced with a clear road up ahead versus having to drive back and around the city, delaying their arrival in Wyoming, Joel resolves to take a detour through the city streets and get back on the Interstate from there. However, they quickly become lost navigating the streets, failing to notice recently burned body piles. They soon come across the entrance to the Kansas City QZ, but are alarmed to see no FEDRA presence. They are soon interrupted by a man in the street claiming to be injured. However, Joel is not fooled, and immediately steps on the accelerator: sure enough, the man turns out to be a rebel, and they are quickly ambushed and crash the car into an abandoned laundromat.
In the aftermath, Stregobor walks through the carnage of Geralt's duel with Renfri's men. He eventually finds Renfri's corpse, and reveals his intent to do an autopsy on her. When Geralt strenuously objects, Stregobor explains that her mutation allows her to influence people around her, as she did by bending her company of soldiers to her will, and that she must be examined. When Geralt is unmoved, Stregobor then realizes that Geralt himself was similarly influenced, so rather than pay him for the assassination, Stregobor instead brings attention to the piles of bodies Geralt had left in his wake. This incenses the townspeople, even Marilka, against Geralt as a murderous witcher. They then throw stones at him until he leaves, as Renfri predicted.
Leaving the Saloon, heading past the Apothecary, she barely avoids getting run over by a horse and cart in her rush to get back to her rooms. There, undressed, she checks her stomach, even more confused by not finding even the hint of a scar. Staring at herself in her mirror she is bewildered, until noticing something on her white shift...a spot of blood. The sight of it bringing back a near painful flash of the Tech's masked face. Hurriedly pulling ot a paper and pencil she sketches out a picture of the astronaut looking Tech. Hearing footsteps coming, she hurriedly tries to hide the drawing, pulling up a loose floorboard to a secret hiding place, only to stop dead, a freshly stunned look on her face as she looks down to already find a pile of pages down there, turning them over to reveal a half dozen more pictures, all of the same Tech suit. Scared and panicked she drops them back in and shoves the floorboard back in place.

Meanwhile, Wander strolls through an area of the ship that is filled with piles of bones, looking for anyone in need of help. He is completely unaware that the savage monster is following closely behind, until he turns around and sees it looming over him. He screams in surprise and the alien plows into him, but he pulls it into a hug, thinking that it needs his help. When he thinks the alien wants to play with him, he runs into another room where the alien chases him until he cannot be found anywhere. Sylvia comes upon the alien and she suddenly gets wrapped in a cocoon and gets attached to the ceiling. The alien takes off after hearing Wander, and Sylvia cries out that her face is tastier than his.
Wander is giving Captain Tim some biscuits when Sylvia bursts through the wall, finally finding him. She snatches Wander up with her, leaving Captain Tim behind and starts for the ship's exit. The self-destruct's time is winding down, and when the voiceover asks Sylvia if time is sped up, she ultimately declines but the voiceover assumes she agrees and ends the countdown early, and the ship starts to explode. Wander and Sylvia successfully get out of the ship and float away from it, just as it explodes completely, leaving behind nothing but a pile of space debris.

Hours later, while Kenny and Ben inspect the boat, Vernon finishes his work with Omid and reports to the mansion's sitting room. Annoyed, Molly asks Lee to stop pacing. Christa demands to know why she is still there. Molly explains that she feels owed for saving lee's life and that she plans to get on the boat with them. Kenny returns and says that he has bad news; the boat was missing a battery and gas, but is in otherwise good condition. The group discusses Crawford as the only place that could possibly have what they need, but Vernon staunchly rejects the plan to ask them for help, instead proposing that they use the sewers as a way to get into the community silently and steal what they need. He volunteers to lead them through the sewers so long as they steal medicine as well. The group agrees to sneak in under the cover of night. Vernon departs to rejoin his people and share with them the plan.
With the armory door being unable to shut due to Kenny's force beforehand, the group runs down the stairs, only to find the room to be infested with walkers, now attentive on them. Kenny hands Lee a shotgun that was in the hands of a fallen guard as the group begins to head up the stairs, and, after shooting and fighting his way up the stairs, the group makes it to the top of the tower. As the group begins to pile out the window, Vernon notices the train, and asks where the group came to Savannah from. Upon everyone (except Ben and Lee) vacating, the bell rings, to which Ben covers his ears. A walker that had been hanging from the bell eventually grabs hold of Ben, at which point Lee can shoot it off of him.
Meanwhile, Barney dares Robin to say or do questionable things on the air with Metro News 1 for money. Robin refuses at first, but performs Barney's first dare when a Freudian slip causes her to say the word "nipple" when she meant to say the word "nickel." She then does the second dare, saying "I'm a dirty, dirty girl," at the end of a news story and spanking herself. When she finds out that no one, not even her boss, watches the news channel she reports for, she decides that she might as well perform the dares. On her third dare from Barney, she honks her own breasts during a report. Barney, as the fourth dare, wants Robin to do the "Ickey Shuffle" at the end of a report in tribute to Ickey Woods, a famous football player for the Cincinnati Bengals. She plans to do this, but then realizes the importance of her job while interviewing New York City's oldest Hansom cab driver. Even though she does not mean to do this, she steps out of the buggy and falls into a pile of horse droppings, which surprises even Barney. Even though no one had known about the previous dares Robin performed, Barney had the TV tuned to her news channel in the bar. Thus everyone in the bar at the time saw her fall off the buggy. Robin is humiliated, especially when Ted reveals that he saw it on the internet.
The quote from the Wonder Pack rules should be taken literally. When they use the term, "resolution order" they are specifically speaking of what order to resolve the actions in the previous conditional: (I.e. multiple players taking cards from the discard pile.)
The last weeks and days have seen some erratic behaviour by Stack Exchange Inc., such as likely illegal changes to the content license and the firing of an upstanding community moderator with no explanation except copy-pasted responses, leaving many to believe it was for no good reason. It would be nice if those just were examples of ill judgement, but the disturbing alternative is that SE has given up on cooperating with the community.
There's a long history of Stack Exchange alienating more engaged community members, and I know many that have already left as a result. That neglectful approach is regrettable, but not outright malicious. This seems to have changed for the worse. 041b061a72
